This is the Life!
"Don't marry the person you think you can live with; marry only the individual you think you can't live without."
- James C. Dobson
After two and a half weeks, I can honestly say that I love being married. More than that, I love being married to Tamara.
She's such a wonderful wife- without me asking, she packs a lunch for me every time I go to whichever job I happen to be working that day (she packs double lunch if I work both in a row, like I did yesterday/today). And, again without asking, she has dinner ready for me whenever she can, which I know isn't easy with her job and hectic schedule.
She does the laundry and keeps our little basement domicile clean- not because I expect it of her as the wife, or because I ask her to: she does it so that we don't have to worry about that stuff. She's very routine-oriented, and she started including me and my stuff in that routine withouot breaking a stride.
I'm, of course, not perfect, but she takes in all my little faults and mistakes, letting me know when I need to change something in a way that doesn't make me feel like an idiot or a slob.
And I love having someone to come home to (or rather someone to come home to me, as the current case may be).
After two and a half weeks, I know I'm not the easiest to live with, and Tamara isn't the perfect person to live with- I'd never expect her to be. But I do know I can't live without her.
I love you, babe.
